LibreCAD RC1 Rilasciato: Nuova versione per il CAD Open Source e nuovo PPA dev per Ubuntu

Qualche tempo fa vi parlai di LibreCAD, un CAD 2D Open Source basato su Qcad nato come prima alternativa libera e professionale per GNU/Linux.

Ebbene il team di sviluppo di LibreCAD ha continuato in questi mesi a lavorare ed ha sfornato LibreCAD RC1. 

Questa nuova versione aggiunge:

1. Created new Logo thanks to Diego
2. Create new icons thanks to pablo
3. Many translations has been added, we are now at 24 translations, WOW!!! http://translate.librecad.org
4. Lot’s of bugfixes that where reported by users through sourceforge. Bug Tracking
5. Rallaz is working on a plugin interface he is doing great work.
6. A inline help file (the original QCad) help file is now included.
7. LibreCAD has now a official website where general (non developer) information can be found.
8. A plugin interface is being added, this is still work in progress….
9. And last but not least, we added a donation option. hint….hint

Oltre alla nuova versione del programma è stato aggiornato il sito ufficiale del progetto www.librecad.org (in stile LibreOffice n.d.r.) ed aggiunto un nuovo PPA per Ubuntu e derivate.

Per installare dunque LibreCAD dev da PPA su Ubuntu e derivate basterà prima aggiungere il PPA da terminale dando

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:librecad-dev/librecad-daily

aggiorniamo

sudo apt-get update

ed installiamo

sudo apt-get install librecad

Il PPA è compatibile con Maverick, Natty ed Oneiric.

Per gli utenti Fedora, Mandriva ed openSUSE che usano RPM a questo link potrete trovare i pacchetti RPM adatti alla vostra distro.

Ricordo altresì che LibreCAD non è solo destinato al mondo GNU/Linux ed è disponibile anche per OSX e Windows.

Ora non ci resta che attendere l'inclusione di LibreDWG in LibreCAD come già annunciato dal team in questo post sul blog ufficiale di LibreCAD.
